Getting set up

What you need before your first operation with the 327th, step by step. If you get stuck, ask in our Discord and someone will help.

What you need

Nothing special: a PC that runs Arma 3, a headset and a Discord account. You don't need any milsim experience, and you don't need to set anything up before you join our Discord. Recruiters and trainers take you through the rest.

Arma 3
A copy of Arma 3 on Steam, on PC.
Headset
A working microphone. Comms are a big part of every operation.
Disk space
Plenty of it. Star Wars mod packs are large, and an SSD makes loading much quicker.
Discord
Sign-ups, trainings, orders and help all happen there.

The steps

  1. Join our Discord and open a recruitment ticket. Read the rules and information, then open a recruitment ticket and fill out the questions. A recruiter will pick it up.
  2. Download the mod pack. The current mod pack is in our Discord. It changes as mods are updated, so always use the one posted there rather than an old copy or a list from somewhere else. Load it in the Arma 3 Launcher before you join the server.
  3. Get the server details. Once you're in the unit, you get access to the game server and voice server details. They aren't posted publicly.
  4. Do your BCT. Basic Combat Training covers the basics of how we play and how we run operations. Request it in our Discord and the next available trainer will run it. Passing makes you a Clone Cadet (CR-C), who can go on main operations.
  5. Sign up for an operation. Operations and trainings are posted in our Discord with sign-up buttons. Fun ops are open to you from day one, even before your BCT.

Your first operation

Load the mod pack and join the server and voice a little before the start time. If a mod is out of date or missing, there's time to sort it before the briefing.

Listen to your squad lead, ask questions at the briefing, and stay with your squad. Nobody expects you to know everything on your first night.

Mod problems
Post in the tech support channel on our Discord, with what's going wrong and a screenshot of any error.
Anything else
Ask any NCO. Most of them will have the answer.
Op times
See when we deploy, or the full calendar.
